We have been busing figuring out number patterns! I am very proud of the results on our test from last Friday. Students were given two EQAO practice questions that nicely addressed the curriculum expectations we explored in the last few weeks. Students figured out pattern rules, used t-charts to show their thinking and identified patterns on a grid.
Generally, on EQAO, a correct answer is a level 4, an answer with a small error is level 3, a foggy answer, or one with several errors is level 2 and one that shows some evidence of math knowledge based on the concept is level 1. (To keep it simple!)
This week, we are delving into some algebra - finding the value of the unknown variable with a quiz coming at the end of the week.
